The Sweetest Love Story
The Sweetest Story

Thy Name is Love

My heart aches to feel your touch so sweet,
Tis such a pain knowing we have yet to meet
Hear my soul cry as I search for thy heart,
To be my soul mate, to ne're be apart.

Thy wondrous ways a dream in this hour,
Time stops as I see thee in my power
Entranced by my beauty and features fair,
I whisper gently thy name in the air.

Love is thy name, a treasure forever,
Two souls one, ne're the line to be sever'd
Entwining together like vines in trees,
Thy love flowing deeply, and with such ease.

I would hold love tender, close to my breasts,
Love would mean more than all words can express
Death would be sweeter than without love be
If this my fate, let my tears fill the sea.

Aphrodite, goddess of love's desires,
Can thee not send love to quench these fires?
See this deprived soul, the anguish deep,
Free the yearning, give me eternal sleep.
