The Essence of Your Love
Thy words are like music I ne're have heard
Flowing gently like a wondrous songbird,
Eyes shining bright as I picture thy face
My soul doth dance as these notes I embrace.
Luminescent hues dancing through my mind
Thy aura lighting the fringes of time,
Two spirits frolicking entwined as one
A symphony portrayed on rays of sun.
Two hearts with passion much tested thus far
Mingling together to search for their star,
Beating posthaste as the soul softly cries
Searching each other with translucent eyes.
Ah, to feel such love would be more than sweet
Thy soul to be bound to my soul complete,
Ne're looking back upon hurts that were found
Forgetting the void that held not a sound.
The essence of love comes deep from within
To light the fires of desire therein,
And while we live let us love forever
Thus when we die our souls are together.
