With words that do truly impart
I am a daughter of the valley. My soul longs for the sea.
Moments, time, a place to begin.
I share my heritage with three siblings. One has passed.
I am renewed through the passions of my sister.
I was married once upon a time.
I am taller than most, shorter than others.
I am a lover of dance. A dreamer in song.
My children are my diamonds; my grandchildren, pearls.
My nieces and nephews are loved beyond measure.
My friends are cherished souls that bring color into my life.
My poems express my true feelings. I write from the heart.
FROM A CLOSE FRIEND
This poet illustrates in words her deepest feelings. She opens her heart and her soul to all that will read her poems. Lovers in love and those aspiring to be in love will find pleasure in her words.
Anger, sadness, joy and hope are expressed deep within her heart and soul. Remembrances of past times, past loves, past hurts, the fiery, passionate or disillusioned kiss, a warm embrace, lips brushing gently across cheeks.
Her poems show a wonderful sense of creative energy. With each writing, you experience her feelings deep in your own heart. The images her words reveal and their concept are so beautifully molded into a collaborative aspect of every part of her life. I am in awe of each poem she writes. Her choreography of words to the images is indeed a remarkable ballet of poetry.
Ella Wheeler Wilcox--Our Lives
Our lives are songs; God writes the words
And we set them to music at pleasure;
And the song grows glad, or sweet or sad,
As we choose to fashion the measure.
